This is a series of videos I made to help people understand how I use The best spinner that I mention in my first how to get backlinks post to create my articles and also I made videos about how I re-use my articles for multiple article syndication platforms.
This next video is about how I go from my spin ready article to using article marketing robot. If you have not read about this software before read my article marketing robot review to have a better idea of the UI and how it works.
Third video is how I prepare articles for Article ranks
And the final video is about using UAW which can be a bit more complicated to learn at first compared to the other services but once you see it in video and do it once it’s definitely quite easy to learn:
So hopefully that helps you guys, let me know if you have any suggestions on other things you would like to see in text/video format or any improvements I could do to the video/audio quality. Listening back to them it feels like the volume might not be that loud, I’ll try to increase my mic’s volume in future videos.
Services I used in this video:
The Best Spinner
Article Marketing Robot
Article Ranks
Unique article wizard
great info especially with UAW and the text categories url….
thanks mate…
Awesome videos man, looks like you went to a lot of effort to create them, thanks!
How did you do the excerpts on the main page with artisteer? I watched the video on thekeywordacademy.com and it didnt have the thing they were talking about.
using plugins, I think one I used is called post teaser on my artisteer themes
Btw alex would be great to see how you create artisteer theme and the things you need on a site including how do you add adsense to your themes , is it manually?
Ya it’s manually. It’s not a big deal to open another post and copy your adsense code to a new one. I was trying “wp insert” addon on a new website but it’s not as great as I was hoping. Ultimately I can’t seem to 100% get rid of manually having to insert the code. For example, I like to have 1 (and currently testing 2 on some sites) ads at the top of my article. Yup, I could add those to my theme but I also like to have another block of ads near the middle/bottom of my post which I would still have to manually insert.
The only thing that I dislike about doing things manually is having to replace my adsense code of a lot of posts when I try out new layouts/colors.
I’ll keep in mind the suggestion for an artisteer video, I probably could mention some tips on layouts that I think of as I create one. I’ll probably create a few for my new websites in 1-2 months.
Nice. Thanks man. I’m sure this will be quite handy in a couple of months when I need to start using these services.
Hey alex, since you’re using both UAW and AMR you might be able to answer a few questions of mine.
Lately I’ve heard the opinion of many people saying that UAW is nowhere near as effective as it was before the whole panda update. Would you say it’s still working for you with your newer sites for blasting web 2.0 and articles etc?
.
Also If you had to choose between AMR and UAW, which would you pick based on their overall effectiveness? Thanks in advance man!
UAW still works, people like to blame others for why they do not see results. Ever since I started people kept telling me UAW does not work anymore… I eventually tried it out for myself and found out it was not true and every few months I use it to promote a keyword by itself and it always does its job. Either way, I would go with AMR before UAW simply because it’s a one time payment and UAW is expensive at $60+/month. I would not get UAW until you are making some revenue. It helps but it also takes time to show it’s effects because a lot of the blog/article directories are user submitted.
Hi Alex
How many times (on average) do you submit a spun article to the same article directory? So if I spin the master article 10 times, should I submit it to the article directories 10 times? What is a decent number to aim for, or progressively build to over time? I suppose it’s all in the name of link building, but it would be good to get an idea how many spun articles from the master article you are submitting on average, before starting with further backlink building.
I never re-submit the same spun article at the same place.
Hey alex, whats up?
Hey man i wanted to ask you somethings about learning SEO in general, you wrote that you recommend the keyword academy , is there anything else you recommend? maybe a JR VIP account in BHW?… i would really like to hear some tips to obtain fresh information about this topic. Thanks
lol JR vip account at BHW is pretty useless for SEO. But honestly SEO is something that is not 100% layed out so you can see hundreds of sources and see different ideas but all this will help you in is to try different things and see what works. I recommend TKA because they have a very newbie friendly approach to the whole thing. Before you start looking at other sources of learning SEO you should already be taking action and starting websites. 90-95% of what you need is there, the rest only comes with experience if you try different things (either because you read a theory about it elsewhere or you thought it up).
Hey Alex,
When submitting articles to AR, do you usually use one spun article to promote one site? I have two newer domains in a related niche, and was wondering if it would be advisable to include just one spun anchor text link using keywords for both URL’s. This way, I’d avoid creating too many backlinks too quickly for each site, while also killing two birds with one stone. Obviously, the article would be spun to 150% or more. Just seeing what you think. Thanks.
Ya that is definitely a good thing to do if both websites are in the same/related niche. It’s a good way to save some time/cost on creating articles. Though, I’m assuming they have different anchor text for their respective URL’s.
Yeah i agree with you, actually i’m taking action, i’m doing pretty well, but you know internet in general is a pretty changing thing…. i was thinking in something to learn fresh and new things to keep updated… actually i do not consider myself a newbie, i’ve got some experience in SEO…. if i see a source that can be used for education purposes i will share it with you.
Thanks
Some resources that I like about SEO are http://www.seobook.com/blog. and http://www.seomoz.org/ from time to time. The first one has great blog posts about SEO news, I enjoy it because it gives me a good overall picture of SEO. Seomoz sometimes puts out good articles on mostly white hat SEO tips that you might like. I still read a few ebooks here and there on SEO but a lot of time they are a waste, 1 in 10 might have something new you might want to try. Most of the time they just remind me of things I might have put less importance on.
Thanks i appreciate it, i will check out those webpages.
Also i recommend this webpage : http://www.smartpassiveincome.com is from a guy who is doing pretty well, very good tips here
Hey. I was wondering 1. How many sites do you run
2. how many of your keywords like what % are you ranking top 10
3. What is your main backlinking strategy? do you just do tbs + uaw + ar + amr ?
For me i run mfa sites also but my problem is 70-80% are not top 10. I’m trying to find the best way to outsource the backlinking AND rank. They are low-medium competion with only 1-2k exact searches.
1. most of my money is from 4 websites but I have about 10-15 currently.
2. Well I usually get at least the first page of google for any post that has 1-2+ months of age for my keywords. so like 80-90% of my keywords that I wrote content on 1+ months ago.
3 That’s a big part of it, depending on the website I do other things too. Sometimes I try profile links, high PR links etc but creating spinned articles for directories and syndication services has always worked really well for me and is a lot less expensive than the rest so I always do that first and eventually if I need more help might try things like guest posts on high PR blogs that are willing to accept my article.
Alex what are your thoughts about creating facebook like button to your posts, i know its look cool , but you think it has any affect on your results on seo according to your experience?
thanks!
facebook likes (if they do impact SEO) would only work with BING anyway since bing has an exclusive deal (for now I guess) to share likes with bing. I add likes to some of my sites that I think ppl might like posts (like this website). I wouln’t do it on something like a disease product website or something that people would not like anyway…
Ok man thanks for answering my original question. I have one more then I should be good to go. I used the best spinner to spin my titles then placed them in the title section of AMR with the spin syntax included. I decided to check on a few of the articles and every single one of the variations is listed for each article at the same time HUGE FAIL on my part haha. I quickly broke all the links on my web 2.0 site that pointed to my main site, and blocked search engines on it, so I should be ok, but what exactly did I do wrong to have each title listed simultaneously instead of one variation per submission? Thanks again Alex!
you probably forgot to add a level of { } on top of them all or did not put | between the titles… I can’t really say more without seeing it (try it out a bit and use the contact form and maybe I can quickly check it)
Well produced and informative videos, thx! I’m looking forward to the increased audio volume in future videos 😉
will do 🙂
Hi Alex,
Question. When you’re using AMR now, are you still spreading your submissions over like 30 days or so? Say for instance, 100 submissions every two days for one spun article.
Also, are you doing any backlinking to your web 2.0s or is that just for initial stuff? I’m not really a fan of creating complicated mininets etc and I like that way that you guys use linkbuilding with articles and such.
for AMR, what I have been doing a few times is instantly do all the PR1+ article directories (around 400 or so on my list) and than I spread the rest of the PR0s at a rate of 100 every 24 hours (I don’t let AMR run in the background and some days I forget to run it). I can’t say this is the best way to use it, but I think for established websites it’s a useful way to get all the most important websites with your article and let them approve it over the days/weeks to come.
If I do web 2.0s, ya I do a bit of linking to them… Mostly because they have a hard time even getting indexed if I do not… Honestly web 2.0s have been a small part of my plan in the past, I’ll be trying them out much more now that I have a VA and new websites where I can try web 2.0s almost exclusively on.
Thanks man. That’s definitely a change from what I’ve been doing with it. I’ll try that out and report back.
I have TBS but i can’t optimaise that..thanks you for your video..i need more trick to drive traffic for my blog..can you explain to me???
huh? I don’t understand what you’re asking…
Hey Alex, when you do your resource box.
You use let’s say 2 spun resources :
1 that has KW 1, KW 2
With anchor text 1,2,3 for KW1 and anchor text 4,5,6 for KW2
And the next resource box will include this :
With anchor text 1,2,3 for KW1 and anchor text 4,5,6 for KW2 ?
or something like KW 1 with anchor text 7,8,9 and KW2 with anchor text 10,11,13 ?
Curious how you do it ?
I re-use 1 2 3 for KW1 and 4 5 6 for KW2
Hi,
what a nice blog you have here.
I have a 3 questions:
1. When using AMR do you have unique account (different username, email etc) for every website you build backlinks?
2.How many links can I add to resource box?
3. Can I add links with KW in other language´s?
1. No I re-use the same
2. I do 2 just because I know a lot of article directories don’t accept articles with more then 2.
3. Most article directories refuse that nowadays so the only one that you might have ok success doing that would be AR as long as you add it in a way that does not look spammy so blog owners don’t reject it too much.
Thank you!
Few more:
1. How many spinned versions you make out of one original article?
2. Do you see any better success rate in submitting as you use spinning services? Is 50% unique rate enough for spunned articles?
1. Any number I want
2. Ya it should be.
hey alex!!
quick question… while you’re using both AR and AMR, roughly how many backlinks are you creating a month?
I know it would depend on how many articles you send off to get published. But could you give some sort of rough idea?
Thanks bro
I probably do a lot less than most of you expect and I can honestly only count it by the number of articles I send since the number of websites that accept my website vary constantly. However a good area when I’m focusing on a keyword for a month or two is I probably reach up to 300 backlinks over 2 months. After those 2 months I probably won’t create more for that keyword/url for another 2 months… So It could be 100 from UAW, 100 from AR, 100 from other stuff such as postrunner, ezine and other services I’m trying that are looking promising.
Ok cool
<>
Do you have that 2 month break to not make google suspicious or just because youre working on other projects?
Both, it also gives time to see the results of the backlinks.
just for fun, how many articles do you reckon you would submit on AR and AMR to get 100 backlinks from both?
I guess an estimate is over a period of 1-2 months AR will give 40 and AMR it’s a lot harder to know since half the submissions fail and some will not get approved/not indexed because they are on terrible websites… But probably 200-300 per AMR article (over a period of 1-2 month again, I drip feed these slowly, theirs no rush).
ok cool that gives me a good idea.
seeing as AR is pretty slow im planning to send off five or six different articles with unlimited distribution for a couple of websites… this wont cause any problems? one of the sites is 12 months old and the other is 6 months.
200-300 backlinks per article in AMR is pretty solid.
It should be fine
Hi,
In AMR I add atleast 3 titles (spinned), but when i click preview it uses all my titles at the same time. So article have 3 titles…Do AMR show 3 titles only in preview mode and use one title at the time when i really submitting them?
Hope you understand what im talking about.
Thank you!
You probably are missing some brackets in spinning. Don’t forget it needs 2 levels of { and }…
Sorry if this is asked but I couldn’t see the answer!
What % do you spin your main article to?
How many spun articles do you generate per main article to submit to directories?
Thanks for these videos!
The % is not really that important, the way I aim is to try to at least have spin syntax for every other word when possible and make sure it’s readable. I think this was reaching around 70%+ in TBS. As for spun articles I’m not sure what you mean, for article syndication services they all accept articles with spin syntax so they submit a new spun article every time for you. If you mean regular article directories, usually I either do not spin the article if I do not intend to submit it to the other networks later on. If I will, I just take the time to use a different spun article for each article directory submission.
Again, Im shocked as to how similar my procedure is to yours and I came up with it on my own. Just wondering though, do you have amr distribute with links to all pages on the site?
Also, in my process I take articles from my site and spun them to be used in the distribution services, again squeezing the most out of my efforts, do you do this as well or do you keep articles for links seperate from articles on site?
Great Post BTW!
For AMR, ya sometimes I do. Also you can re-use those articles if you want. I did in the past. I doubt it matters, especially if you spin the article for submission (which most networks force you to do).
